Lawns can seem tricky in spring, but the three fundamental tips will help your lawn drastically improve.
1. Mow at the correct height - Most of the time, this is higher. Our most popular turfgrass is St. Augustine grass, and it loves a tall weekly cut with sharp blades.
2. Water Correctly - Our grass needs approximately 1.5" of water per week, and drought stress is extremely common in our area during spring.
3. Nutrition Program - A nutrition program is more than fertilizing once or twice per year, just like eating is more than once or twice per week. It involves regular feedings of organic lawn soil amendments, plant nutrition, weed control / prevention, and lawn pest prevention.
The three tips are fundamental to a lawn you can love again.
